Winter preps kick-off officially

Partizan winter preps kicked-off officially after a traditional meeting of players, coaching staff and club`s executives.
Gordan Petric charges have a week`s worth of two-hours-a-day training behind them already and they will keep practicing at the club`s training centre before they move to Turkey on 12th of January for a 14-day training camp.
FK Partizan President Milorad Vucelic, Head Coach Gordan Petric and Sporting Director Ivica Kralj all addressed the players at the official meeting.
Boss Gordan Petric has full squad available since all foreign players with extended break returned to training on 26th of December.
Milorad Vucelic:
-As it happens on these meetings, Head teacher would ask if everyone is present. I`m not going to do it this time around as I know you are all there and we are all thrilled about it. I know you watched a lot of football during the World Cup. Young players probably learned something watching those great national teams while the experienced ones affirmed their skills and discovered they are a match to these players. Now, it`s time for you to go out on a training pitch after a long and unusual winter break. It`s one long year ahead of you.
First and foremost, you are competing in Serbian elite league and this competition`s reward is next season`s Champions League. We`ll see how far we stretched at the end of the following year. Moreover, you have a Conference League tie in less than two months.
I hope you will keep playing well and even better. I expect from youngsters to find their spot under the sun with the help of more experienced and matured players. Most importantly, I hope you`ll achieve results in all competitions with as less injuries as possible, playing in full strength, with competitive passion and chivalry as we always do. Partizan is all about chivalry and wins on the pitch only.
