After four years with the club and number of appearances for Montenegro national team, Partizan centre-back Igor Vujacic moves to Russia.

28-year-old arrived to Partizan on 1st of July 2019 and made 129 apps for the club with 11 goals and 6 assists to his name.

Vujacic will continue his career at Rubin Kazan.

He visited his now-former teammates ahead of their journey to Slovenia pre-season camp.

“ It`s hard, I gained a lot of friends here but I have to move on, making a step forward in my career. I hope I paid my dues back to Partizan to certain extend and I`d to thank Partizan for allowing me to play in such a big club”, said Vujacic.

He also spoke about his work and progress at Partizan.

“When I arrived and for the first six months, it wasn`t good for me but things worked out for me later on. I always tried to do my best, both on during training sessions and games. I`m happy now as I believe I move on forward with my conscience clear”.

His message to Partizan players and fans.

“Most of the team from last season is still there. I think they learned their lessons and things that happened last season shouldn`t happen anymore. It`s a new start for them and I wish them all the luck, injury-free season too. Surely, wins will come”, said Vujacic before his departure.
