34-year-old Serbian national team and Nottingham Forest keeper Vladimir Stojkovic signed a loan deal with Partizan for his second spell with the club.
Partizan struck a deal with English Championship club and signed Stojkovic on a one-year loan contract. His contract with Forest expires in one year, so Partizan will be able to sign him as a free player.
In his first spell with Partizan, Stojkovic made 147 apps for the club and scored one goal – against BSK Borca in 2012. He picked his favourite jersey numner – 88.
Partizan Sports Director Ivica Iliev on Stojkovic signing:
– With great pleasure and pride I have another opportunity to work with Vladimir. We were teammates back in 2010 when we played in CL with Partizan together. Now, we did everything we could to bring back Stojkovic and he might prove key in our battle for EL group stage. We have great faith that we will achieve our targets with him as our keeper.
Vladimir Stojkovic upon signing:
– I`m glad to be back in the club where everyone wanted me to be. That what matters to me – to feel as a family member here and I`ll try to pay it back on the green.
