Partizan boss Gordan Petric after the match:

– I knew we can win it if boys do their job on the pitch. They know how they played and I congratulate them on this win but we are only halfway through the group fixtures. We have Koln at home next Thursday and it`s going to be even tougher in week`s time.

Koln plays direct football with lots of pace and physicality while we were short in rotation due to absence of Fejsa and Belic. I knew Koln was going to risk more in the second half and we were unlucky to score two or three more after the break. We won, but this is just the first half of this meeting and group stage.
