Teleoptik miss out on second-tier promotion

Partizan affiliates Teleoptik lost third-tier play-offs to Mladost Novi Sad. After first-leg 1-1 away draw, Teleoptik lost home tie 2-1.

Visitors were better side in the first half and scored an opener on 22 as as a result.

Things changed after the break and Teleoptik scored and equalizer just before the hour mark (Vido Markovic), missed number of opportunities and hit the crossbar (Blagojevic) but Mladost managed to score a winner on 82.

Nonetheless, this was a great season for Teleoptik who finished top of the regular third-tier Belgrade Group standings. They just needed a bit of luck to return to second-tier but we are sure their working ethics, desire, love for the game and determination will be rewarded next season.
