Danilo Pantic (hamstring) is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines. He is not expected to return to action until the end of the season.
Partizan boss Aleksandar Stanojevic addressed journalist at the presser ahead of Radnicki away:
-When you have five points advantage at the top of the standings, you are favourites to win the title at the moment but one game can change it all, so it`s too early to talk about anything. Crvena Zvezda had a great winter transfer window but we play good. What matters is that we have an opportunity to win the title and we are better for one more preps period. I guess we raised some things onto the higher level. We also sign some important players but Pantic`s injury is a bit of a problem now, we had no time to sign suitable replacement on a such short notice.
It`s impossible to achieve same results from the first part of the season, to win it all and just draw two games, though some of the game we played were really good, some were alright and some were not exactly good enough. I hope we`ll play with more pace now and be able to use other formation system. We played with three at the back before, against Gent, Kolubara, away at Metalac or in a recent friendly against Tikves. I have no problem changing the formation. We also have Natcho and Markovic recovered and I hope some of the youngsters will pick up too.
My team has to be 100% ready now. We have no time to kind of warm-up and get fully fit for third game. We will miss Pantic and newcomers Jevtovic and Fejsa have yet to pick up the rhythm, Markovic is back after a lengthy spell on the sidelines, just like Natcho, and he is not 100% ready but he looks good. We`ll see how the things will develop in Nis, we have our plan for that game.
