After six years spent at the club, Partizan skipper Slobodan Urosevic will continue his career abroad.
29-year-old left-back sent a farewell message to the fans:
-As a former team captain now, a player who spent the best part of the career at Humska Rd, I`d like to start and finish this message with two words – Partizan forever! Wherever the life takes us, whatever club we are to play for, love for the black-and-white colours, passion and fans are something irreplaceable.
Everyone will say how hard it is to leave, to even write all this, but when you spend so many years here, when you live with all those club members, happy or sad, that stays engraved in your heart – we are all one big family!
Therefore, I`d like to thank every player, member of coaching staff, all employees at Teleoptik training centre – receptionist, chef, waiters…all those who cared for us there.
I`m proud I was team captain. I didn`t achieve my dream to hold the title trophy but I leave it as a testament to new Partizan generations and players who`ll remain.
Each lost game hurts as well as the final standings this season, as it doesn`t paint the right picture and all of us who kept walking onto the pitch each week know that all too well!
These boys have new season ahead of them, new battles, desires and motivation! Support them and push them forward as they live for the club as you do! It`s not always easy but it`s always nice to support Partizan!
Partizan forever!
Slobodan Urosevic
