Partizan is away to third-tier Dubocica (Wednesday, 4.30pm CET kick-off) for a Serbian Cup last 16 one-legged fixture. Dubocica will host Partizan at Cair Stadium, Nis.

 

TEAM NEWS

Bibars Natcho (health issue) and Lazar Markovic (collarbone) remain sidelined. Boss Stanojevic hinted Sasa Zdjelar will be rested for Dubocica game. Filip Holender and Nikola Terzic remain a doubt.

 

Partizan  boss Aleksandar Stanojevic ahead of cup tie:

-It`s clear we are favourites to win this game. On the other hand, we watched five or six games Dubocica played this season, they eliminated Spartak away in a previous cup round. Therefore, we need to be wary of them. When it`s a one-legged tie, you never know how it can unfold. We are always under pressure here at Partizan and this cup game will be no different. After Dubocica, we play Novi Pazar, unbeaten in seven matches. Each and every game is hard and demanding. We are cautious, as every game we play is kind of eliminatory.

It`s a shame Dubocica cannot play at home but I`m sure turf in Nis will be of good quality.

You know my stance, domestic league is my priority number one. It`s the marathon competition but cup has its importance too. There will be no lack of desire in that competition from us, last season we lost on penalties in the cup final, now we`ll try to win it. But, league is our number one priority.
