Samed Bazdar makes it to the Guardian`s Next Generation 2021 list

Renowned British daily The Guardian published an article “Next Generation 2021”, picking 60 of the most talented youngsters born in 2004 with Partizan`s Samed Bazdar making the list.

In previous years, Partizan`s Armin Djerlek and Filip Stevanovic also made appearance on the Guardian`s list of upcoming football talent.

“Above all, it`s a great responsibility”, said 17-year-old Bazdar upon learning about this article.

“It`s nice when you read your name on the list of most talented players around the world. But, piece of paper is not playing, it`s us who do. I`m aware, with all the love for the game involved, football journey is long and tiring and you always have to wait for the right moment. Moreover, we witness many young players burn out fast if they don`t run their careers clever, so one needs to be wary.

I don`t waste my time at all, I try to keep up with everyone. I shape my form playing for Partizan and Serbia youths and I`m glad I`m part of the national team, waiting for my opportunity at my home club”, said young Partizan attacking midfielder/forward.
