Partizan latest signing, Queensy Menig, started training with his new teammates, those not away on international duty. 26-year-old forward shared his early impressions for Partizan website.
“My first day was really nice, I was excited to start. Everybody welcomed me good – PR manager, teammates, coach and all the staff.
Training sessions are hard but it`s good for me to adapt fast to the team, club and the country”, said Menig.
In-between training sessions, Queensy is getting familiar with the city.
“I`ve been to a couple of restaurants already. I want to get house or apartment fast, get the car and see more of this nice riverside in Belgrade”.
Partizan will play Eternal Belgrade derby game soon and Queensy Menig states he is ready for this encounter.
“Of course I`m ready for it but before this game we have two important matches. Each league game is important along with first Conference League match in-between. After that we have that big derby against my friend Zivkovic”, said Menig.
As they are away on international duty, Queensy Menig is yet to meet his new roommates Ricardo and Soumah.
“I`m excited to meet them but I like having space and being alone is not a problem. Ricardo sent me a message to check how I`m and to said he`ll help me with everything once he is back. He was kind to me already”.
Queensy arrived to club promotion with his family.
“They were more excited than me. My family likes this city a lot and they are looking forward to come back here fast. I also call on my friends to experience Belgrade themselves instead of asking me how it is here”, said Queensy Menig.
