Partizan second winter transfer window signing is 25-year-old forward Dejan Georgijevic. He signed on a one-year loan from Hungarians Ferencvaros with a buy option included. Georgijevic picked shirt number 14.

Dejan Georgijevic is actually former Partizan player as he previously signed for our club back in 2011 from Zemun, as a 17-year-old. In his first spell with the club he made 10 appearances scoring 5 goals.

Following season he was loaned to Teleoptik followed by spells in Spartak Subotica, Indjija and Vozdovac before his February 2018 move to Ferencvaros.

He was part of talented Partizan youths including Ninkovic, Lazar Markovic and others and Georgijevic was expected to lead the line back then. It was not to be but we hope he`ll prove his quality this time around.

Dejan Georgjievic upon signing:

– I`m really happy to be back home. I`d like to thank Ferencvaros management for allowing this to happen and I also like to thank Partizan management. I hope Partizan fans will enjoy mu goals. I had other offers from abroad and some from Serbian Super League but I wanted to sign for Partizan. Scoring goals is important but all that matters is Partizan to keep winning.

Partizan Sports Director Ivica Iliev:

– We signed Georgijevic at the right time, now that he`s matured as a player. He can now show us that talent we signed him for first time around. He is part of the vision and model boss Mirkovic is aiming for and I have no doubts Georgijevic will blend in fast.
