Partizan played first friendly of Slovenian preps winning Austrian second-tier side KSV 1919 2-0.

Over the opening 15 mins Patrizan had three opportunites to take the lead – Ostojic twice after the breaks and Alen Stevanovic who assisted instead of taking a chance himself.

Later on, Jankovic took an angled low shot that didn`t trouble KSV keeper much.

Austrians themselves had only one shot on target in the first half. Their mostly defensive approach paid off.

In the second half, boss Djukic introduced almost completely new line-up with only Alen Stevanovic in from the Partizan side before the break.

Early on, Djurickovic crossed it for unmarked Tawamba followed by a weak far post header from Cameronian forward.

On 55, Tawamba assisted to Djurickovic who scored the opener from the rebound after hitting the post first.

On 58, Marjanovic broke into the box and sent a low ball into the 6-yard box followed by a far post tap-in from Djilas.

Partizan had more opportunities before the final whistle but it was 2-0 final score.

MIroslav Djukic on KSV 1919 friendly:

– I`m really pleased as this is the way we want to play. We were aggressive, attacked via flanks and charged widths and lengths. Team is more fit now and there are more friendlies to be played for our boys to enjoy in games of football.

We have no first or reserve team yet. Everyone is competing and we have large enough roster to make Partizan a better side. We had lots of possession in the first half but failed to score. We have to work on finishing and we had good result in that department after the break. But, this is all normal at this stage of pre-season.
