Pantic: I believe we can go through to the final

Partizan suffered 4-2 defeat in the hands of Cukaricki in a first leg of National Cup semi-final with reverse fixture scheduled for  9^th of May. Danilo Pantic scored a brilliant 2-2 equalizer just before half-time and we talked to Partizan midfielder after the game:

– We conceded too many goals and we cannot allow that to happen. At the end, we failed to achieve positive result although we equalized twice. We simply didn`t manage to score as much as we conceded. We also missed a handful of opportunities but I`m convinced we`ll look better in the second leg, says Pantic.

You scored a beauty and assisted to Radic`s own goal.

– My goal was a moment of inspiration and I hope there`ll be more from me, especially in the second leg. I`m glad my form is picking up. My hard work is paying off and I`m fully motivated to train better and give more to this team.

First choice goalie Stojkovic felt back pain just before the game and had to be substituted.

– Stojkovic means a lot to us but we cannot fault Jovicic for any goal conceded today. He did a fine job today.

Partizan plays a home league game against Cukaricki on Sunday and reverse cup semi leg on 9^th of May.

-We need to score two and not to concede any in the reverse leg and I can see us doing it. We are at home and I believe we can go through. Before then, we play them in the league and we have an opportunity for early payback.
