Ozegovic: A win for the team and for the fans

Partizan won SSL round 2 away game against Dinamo with a single goal scored on 82, after total of 18 shots towards Dinamo net and 75% ball possession from Partizan. Winning goal scorer Ognjen Ozegovic spoke to Partizan website after the match:

− We knew it was going to be hard with Dinamo parking the bus at the back. I`m glad we created lots of opportunities and deservedly won it at the end, Ozegovic said.

You had several opportunities yourself and finally scored after cross from NR Miletic.

– We had quite a few players on the field who starred last season and therefore I`m particularly glad we won It, I`m happy for this team. This goal means a lot to me as we on the attack all the way through and had many opportunities. We`ll fix this finishing problem as we move forward.

It really looked like the ball refusing to go into the net.

– You were able to feel tension, players were getting nervous but we kept creating chances, we were persistent and believed we can score. It paid of eventually. Winning desire was clear for everyone to see.

What follows is EL round 2 reverse leg away to Trakai.
