Former Partizan Youth Academy Director Nedeljko Kostic died today at the age of 75.
Although never a professional football player, Kostic achieved respectable coaching career regarding youth categories in particular.
He started his coaching career as 24-year-old as coach, scout and chief administrative officer at FK Galenika, now FK Zemun. At the time, Galenika competed in a third-tier but all of the club`s youth teams were doing the great job at their respective youth groups.
Kostic tried himself out as a head coach of Sartrid Smederevo and Crvena Zvezda Gnjilane but he turned back to working with youths in 1998 when he was appointed Partizan Youth Academy assistant director followed by a spell of 14 years as the club`s academy director himself with Partizan never short of youth talent breaking through to the senior ranks.
FK Partizan lost another friend and club legend.
