Nemanja Nikolic: We can win trophies

Midweek cup fixture opener was scored by Nemanja Nikolic. We spoke to Partizan forward after Kolubara game:

– We started cup competition, one we won for three years in a row. Kolubara is one of favourites to return to second-tier and their quite experienced side will surely do their best to make it happen. Atmosphere there was great and I was really surprised by high quality pitch in Lazarevac, said Nikolic.

Partizan non-regulars showed they should be taken into the account.

– We were big favourites to win it and we did it by dominating possession and with quality performance overall. Now, we have a tough league away encounter away to Radnicki where we have to try and win, to start another winning streak. We showed against Crvena Zvezda we are a better team and we have right to believe we can win domestic trophies.

Great overall performance against Kolubara and two assists from left-back Urosevic.

– Credits to Urosevic on his performance, one that he marked with two fine assists. Praise to whole team as well. I scored after a fine team play but I`m not pleased with my performance overall.
