Lazar Pavlovic after his first league goal

Partizan won Spartak 2-1 after a bit of late drama but goals from Lazar Pavlovic and Bibars Natcho were still enough for a Partizan`s 12^th consecutive home league win.

Boss Stanojevic started the game with three youngsters – Jovic, Pavlovic and keeper Popovic – while Zivkovic made his rare starting line-up appearance on the right flank. It was 19-year oldPavlovic who scored the opener and we spoke to young Partizan playmaker after the game:

“It was a very tough game for us after midweek`s cup semi. We were a bit tired but we deserved to win as we were better side all the way through and created a lot of opportunities as a result”- said Lazar Pavlovic.

You had a couple of opportunities before you finally scored on 38.

“First of all, I`d like to say I`m so happy that I was in a starting line-up at all, to play a game from the go with all the great competiton around. I was a started against Macva too but I failed to score back then”

“I was at the right place and time tonight and scored with a bit of luck involved. I had two or three more opportunities but I`m sure everything will pay off if I keep working hard”

“I feel great myself. Of course, there`s desire on my behalf to get more minutes. It`s on boss Stanojevic to make a call when he feels I`m working and trying hard enough, just as he did today”.
