Former Partizan player and assistant manager Igor Duljaj is assigned as the new FK Teleoptik – FK Partizan affiliated club – head coach.
The 42-year old spoke to the Partizan website in regard to his new job.
-As someone who graduated through Partizan youths, I`m delighted to take over FK Teleoptik – a true FK Partizan base for player`s development, with many of them achieving great careers at Partizan and abroad. To name a few: Partizan appearances all-time record holder Sasa Ilic, Goran Arnaut, Ivica Iliev, Marko Zivkovic, Milos Jojic, Aleksandar Miljkovic or Nikola Milenkovic and Aleksandar Mitrovic who are household European football names.
My desire is to strengthen this black-and-white line, to open the doors for the new talent to compete for senior team spots after fine performances at Teleoptik.
Vanja Vlahovic is the latest of the range of talents to get introduced to senior football while retired Partizan centre-back Bojan Ostojic will be with us to help the youngsters develop, he was the one with whom one Strahinja Pavlovic or Nikola Milenkovic matured while at Partizan first team.
Players are paramount for us and I will try to use my experience and my work ethics to get them all onto the right path.
