Greetings from Cape Verde

After three days off, Partizan squad resumes regular training on Wednesday although without nine players away on international duty – NR Miletic (Serbia), Danilo Pantic (Serbia U-21), Strahinja Pavlovic, Radivoj Bosic, Zlatan Sehovic (Serbia U-19), Nebojsa Kosovic, Aleksandar Scekic (Montenegro), Goran Zakaric (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Ricardo Gomes (Cape Verde).

We heard from Ricardo:

-I`m back home in the city of Praia on the island of Santiago. We have final Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Lesotho on Sunday. We only played this competition twice so far and we have a great desire to qualify again. It`s important for players and for our country. It would also be the first time I play ACN, says Ricardo.

Do people in Cape Verde know about your Partizan exploits?

-Lot of people watch Partizan via internet. They often ask me about Eternal derby and game`s incredible atmosphere. I`m free to say there are Partizan faithfuls here as well.

Their supports means a lot to me as I can see they enjoy in all my goals and exploits. Such love motivates me to be even more useful, to have more continuity in both Partizan and national team.
