First Partizan goals from Belic and Pavlovic

Partizan won Cukaricki in a five-goal thriller with newcomers Belic and Pavlovic scoring a goal each along with winner from skipper Urosevic.

We spoke to Kristijan Belic and Andrija Pavlovic after the game.

Belic, summer signing from Cukaricki, scored Partizan equalizer three mins before the half-time whistle:

-I think everyone was great tonight but we had gaps in our game. That`s to expect when you play against excellent side with great individuals within the team. I congratulate both sides for a great encounter tonight.

I knew we had a quality and I was convinced we are going to win it. We all believed, especially knowing our recent form and we were rewarded in the end.

Andrija Pavlovic returned from injury recently and finally scored his first Partizan goal after number of opportunities missed.

-I had my share of chances to score but that`s all with a reason I guess. Goals were needed today, it was a tough game and these three points mean a lot to us for our push up the ladder. We work hard and it pays off.

We had too many games recently and we started the match a bit poor, lacking energy. Goal Cukaricki scored actually helped us shake things a bit and I think we made a top-notch reaction. Lots of runs, lots of tackles, it was enjoyable playing Cukaricki. Belic made a decisive defensive tackle late in the game followed by our winning goal and I think people watching the game were able to enjoy too. Of course, I`m so proud to score myself.
