Filip Holender returned to Hungary by signing to Vasas. 28-year old winger/forward spoke to Partizan website before departing.
“As much as it was tough and strenuous in a club with constant pressure, I had a lovely time at Partizan and I thank God on an opportunity to play for such a big club with great players, excellent coaches and mingle with everyone devoted to Partizan. Therefore, I`d like to praise all those silent heroes who were next to us and helped me beside all the teammates and coaches – physios, kit man, medics and all employees at the club`s sports centre. This was one nice life experience for me and great time behind me.
Football is a game taking you to the different parts of the world. As a professional player, I need to play as all of us feel lively and happy on the pitch. We all have different roads to take and this is mine now, this is how it should be. I want to play as much as possible, score goals and help team in everything football game is about. Now I`m back in Hungary and we`ll see what`s ahead of me. However, this one the only road I could take at this moment.
Once again, I`d like to thank everyone around. Those who know me, they know how grateful I am for everything and how thrilled I was to work and live with all these people. I wish all the luck to Partizan and its supporters and I would love to see Partizan back to winning ways. I believe everything will be back to normal soon. I will visit Partizan games with my family as much as possible as this club is part of my life so much.
Thanks again and come on Partizan!”.
