Young Boys squad arrived to Belgrade today and staged press-conference later in the evening in attendance of manager Adi Hutter and goalie David von Balmoos.
Adi Hutter:
– I expect one interesting and suspenseful game. We are trailing two points behind Partizan and it will be challenge for our players, especially younger ones, to be successful in this stadium`s atmosphere. If we want to go through, we have to win Partizan. There is a possibility that the draw would do the job but if we win it, we have a greater chance of going through to the next round.
We might make some starting line-up changes compared to a team that played last domestic league game. If we do, it will be only to tactically adjust to our opponent. I`d like to underline some Partizan virtues – they are much more stable at the back and they concede very few goals.
Last Sunday, it was important that we won Zurich. We have two more games in Europa League and if win them both we are through to last 32. We want the same as Partizan. They didn`t reach springtime stage of European competitions for 13 years now. We need to win both remaining games to make sure we go through. Otherwise, we`ll open the doors for Partizan to make it.
Partizan will lack Tosic but Jankovic and Tawamba are booming with attacking quality. I think we have similar teams in terms of quality.
David von Balmoos:
-Both teams will want to win and I`m sure atmosphere on the stands will be good. We are looking forward to tomorrow`s game. Tosic will not play for Partizan, he is a good player, fine set-piece taker. But, there are more good players in Partizan team.
After the press-bit, visitors moved to Partizan ground for an official pre-match training session open for public for the first 15 mins according to UEFA rules.
