EL Ql1: Partizan v Rudar preview

Partizan is playing EL round qualifiers return leg against Rudar Pljevlja on Thursday, 8.30pm CET kick-off. Our team won last week`s away game 3-0.

TEAM NEWS

Forward Nemanja Nikolic picked up injury in the first leg game and is expected to be sidelined for three weeks. Midfielder Marko Jankovic will also be unavailable due to injury.

Boss Miroslav Djukic on upcoming match:

– We achieved fine first leg result but it`s not going to be walk in the park tomorrow as we struggled away until we scored the opening goal. I expect us to be focused and we`ll do everything possible to play good, competitive game in front of our fans. This is our first home game of the season and I think players will be motivated enough to present themselves in fine fashion to the home crowd. Considering we have are many games and travels ahead of us, there will be some starting line-up changes tomorrow.

Midfielder Sasa Zdjelar on Rudar game:

– It`s good we almost finished the job in the first leg but we are going to play as if the first game ended in a stalemate. It was hard there to break the Rudar down and I expect them to trouble us here as well. Rudar will come here to show they can play a good football game.
