On Thursday, Partizan is home to Young Boys Bern as part of Europa League group stage round 5 fixtures. Game kicks-off at 9.05pm CET with local live coverage from RTS TV1.
In other group B game, Skenderbeu hosts Dynamo Kyiv at 9.05pm too.
Zoran Tosic is sidelined due to accumulated cautions. Seydouba Soumah fully recovered from his injury bur remains to be seen if he will be among the starters tomorrow.
Coach Miroslav Djukic on upcoming game:
— I`m quite pleased with our team`s progress. We play better and more floating game and the team understands our idea of play much better now. That`s why I`m positive. Partizan grows and plays better, especially regarding European encounters. We are going to attack tomorrow, to play to win, there`s no other way with us.
We`ll try to play our game but we are aware there`s no space for any mistakes as they can prove costly. We have to be composed and patient. You can`t allow your opponent to benefit from your blunders.
I expect just one thing from my players – do give their best and I know they will. I want us to look at each other after the game and say “we did our best, we were Partizan and we played as Partizan should play”. I don`t know if we are going to win tomorrow but I know everyone selected will try their best, they always do, regardless of the level of their performance.
We are also ready to play without Tosic as we are team and someone else is there to jump in and to play with confidence. I know who that player is but I`m not going to reveal it now. As for Soumah, he might play from the start or might come in later, we`ll see about that.
Right-back Miroslav Vulicevic on tomorrow`s game:
— We are all aware of tomorrow`s game importance. I can only promise we`ll play to the 100% of our abilities but we have to remain calm and cool-headed as any mistake can be punished severely. This team proved capable of playing for a needed result, this is one competitive side especially when really important games are to be played. Also, we know how much qualifying for EL`s last 32 stage means to us all individually. That would see us achieve one of the targets set before the start of season. Compared to first game against Young Boys, we are now more compact side. This team formed along the way and now we play more like a team. Moreover, we are on a good run.
