Partizan won corresponding group fixture against Anorthosis 2-0 away.
TEAM NEWS
Bibars Natcho (health issues) and Lazar Markovic (collarbone) remain long-term absentees. Danilo Pantic is almost certainly out of the contention while Aleksandar Scekic is doubtful.
Boss Aleksandar Stanojevic and midfielder Milos Jojic attended pre-match press-conference.
Aleksandar Stanojevic:
-First upcoming game is always the most important one but we can say this match is of paramount importance as it`s a crucial group stage clash for us regarding progress to the next round. Anorthosis is unpredictable side, they can surprise us in a number of ways but we are ready for everything they can throw at us.
The fact that we need a point only, well we`ll think about that in 85th minute of the game. Until then, we`ll go for a win. We have a different ideas how we are going to play and there`ll be some risks involved. Anorthosis has a chance to go through as well and I`m sure they`ll attack us at some point. We are at home and we`ll try to do everything to progress through to the next round. We also have a plan B if needed.
Milos Jojic:
-We are masters of our own destiny and ready for tomorrow`s game in front of the home crowd and I hope we`ll all celebrate our passage through to the next round. As a Partizan kid all over, I know it`s all about wins here, everything else is failure, basically. We are used to such pressure and we are handling it well.
I don`t think about Anorthosis, I`m focused on us and our quality. Fans are our valuable asset and I invite them to support us in great numbers tomorrow.
