Partizan won the title in 1986 after a dramatic last few weeks, including a thriller away to Dinamo Zagreb in penultimate championship round.
Hosts had only pride to play for while Partizan battled for the title alongside bitter rivals Crvena Zvezda with whom our team shared leading position on the standings, equal on points two weeks before the end of the season.
Zvonko Varga scored Partizan opener on 28 and it was quiet goal-wise until the last 20 mins of the game when hosts scored two goals from the penalty spot in just two mins, 73 and 75.
However, Partizan showed great quality in remaining playing time and supported by few thousand away fans it was Varga again to find himself on a scoresheet for Partizan equalizer 11 mins before final whistle.
Two 19-year subs, Goran Bogdanovic and Milinko Pantic, proved crucial minute later when their joint effort led to Partizan second lead of the game and final 3-2 scoreline.
