CLQ: Partizan v Olympiacos preview

Partizan is home to Olympiacos on Tuesday in a first leg of CL round 3 qualifiers. Game kicks-off at 8.45pm CET with live coverage from Arena Sport TV1.

Two sides never met in European competitions before but did play a number of friendlies over the years:

Miroslav Djukic on Olympiacos game:

– We have extremely tough game ahead of us, against Champions League regular. We`ll do our best to achieve good result at home, one that will help us qualify for CL play-off round. It will be hard, but we`ll try. Olympiacos is great club and team and that`s how we are going to treat them. One serious side and a mix of great individuals. They play firm and with team spirit. But, we can always try to attack them.  We have to play good and aggressive defensively. I want my team to be aggressive and resolute, to lead the game. We have to respect our opponent but I don`t want to see fear. We are Partizan and this tie should serve us to see where we stand compared to big European sides.

Uros Djurdjevic:

– We were drawn against hardest possible opponent from the list but we have no fear. I hace faith in my teammates and coaching staff and I believe we can achieve good first leg result. Olympiacos is favourite to go through as Champions League regular. But, I hope fine atmosphere on the stands will push us forward.
