Partizan achieved another convincing SSL win, beating Vozdovac 3-0 away. Partizan boss Aleksandar Stanojevic spoked to journalists after the game.
“I can really be pleased after this win here. It was extremely hard game for us. Vozdovac plays well lately, they are very aggressive and organized team. I think we responded in a good fashion and it took some time before we managed to break our opponent. I`d like to praise my players on being so organized. I can be more than pleased, knowing how hard is to win here”, said Stanojevic.
Queensy Menig scored and opener and assisted to Ricardo for Partizan`s second of the match.
“He is our import who must play like that all the time. Menig is under pressure too. On the other hand, he arrived three months ago and didn`t have a pre-season with us. It`s not easy for him but he scored lots of goals. In general, he was crucial today, scored a goal but he missed a clear-cut opportunity beforehand, don`t know how this ball bounced like that. His performances differ as he didn`t have a pre-season with us but he was a starter once again and did his job in a best possible way for us”.
Stanojevic also spoke about Pavlovic who`s playing as a starter lately.
“He`s became extremely disciplined tactical-wise. Vozdovac is great coming out of their third and it`s hard to prevent that. Pavlovic was disciplined, did everything I asked him to do, to prevent them coming out of their third with ease. He would speed up the movement when needed and he was a part of the team who won Vojvodina last time around, with same characteristics. It`s not easy for him too, he didn`t play for a long time. It`s not easy for him to be crucial player on the field. But, I`m very pleased with his performance, he had two or three opportunities, one shot, he just needs to be more clinical. But, I`m pleased with Pavlovic”, said Stanojevic.
Regarding Lazar Markovic`s collarbone injury sustained midweek in European fixture, Partizan boss said “things will be more clear in a next few days”.
