Partizan lost to Gent in a first of two Conference league group stage meeting against Belgian side and failed to retain top spot. We spoke to Partizan playmaker Bibars Natcho after the game.
“We expected it to be tough. They are a good side but we were ready for them. Simply, ball didn`t want to go into the net for us. They scored after a corner-kick but these days happen. We have to change number of things. Although we had our good moments and opportunities, we failed to score”, said Natcho.
Partizan will play away to Gent on 4th of November.
“Now we know them better and they got to learn about us as well. It will be even harder away but we will be ready, aiming for the win”.
Partizan needs to focus on domestic matters and next in line is TSC away on Sunday.
“Fixture list is so hard, two games a week all the time. We want to remain top of the pile, that`s the most important for us. We`ll be out there to give hundred percent on Sunday, that`s for sure”, said 33-year-old midfielder.
