Partizan player and Israeli national team captain, Bibars Natcho, announced he is going to retire from Israeli national team. He will officially retire after Israel`s away game to Switzerland scheduled for 28th of March. 35-year-old midfielder made his national team debut nearly 14 years ago.
Natcho made a total of 88 apps for Israel, 83 of those as a starter.
“I feel really strange. I love my teammates and coach, I feel good to play but it important to know when to stop and preserve your body. I want to focus all my energy on my club – Partizan, to extend my playing career as such, to play two or three more years and to be fully at disposal club-wise. I am glad it turned out like this eventually. Massive thanks goes to my national team teammates as this was a big night for me. Two days ago they organized a meeting and made a video for me that got me close to tears”, said Bibars Natcho.
