Partizan won first league after the winter break, beating Radnicki Nis 2-0 away with goals from Ricardo (`44) and Urosevic (`84), while Bibars Natcho made his 100th Partizan appearance.
“It`s a special feel to play hundred games for Partizan. I hope for hundred more, at least. It`s a really nice feeling and I was truly excited about it today but I have to keep moving forward now and get into even better pace”, said Bibars Natcho after Radnicki match.
New “Club 100” member spoke about Radnicki game.
“Extremely tough game in every sense. Moreover, we lost keeper Popovic with head injury and him being unconscious for a bit really shook us. It was really hard, pitch surface was so bad that I`m free to say this was far from football game, more like a beach soccer conditions. I think this was the worse surface I played on in my entire career, as far as I can remember, and I played in minus 15 or 20 degrees Celsius conditions in the past. But, to win the title, you have to win games like this”.
However, this was an important win for Partizan to restart the season in a good fashion.
“Yes, it was important to kickstart second part of the season well, as we just came out of winter break and tough preps. I`m particularly thrilled to be back recovered and fit, as I didn`t have a single competitive game behind me for the past two or three months. I feel good now and I look forward to upcoming matches. We have Conference League and Serbian Super League to play and we`ll try to our best in Europe but we also have to be hundred percent focused on domestic matters! Each game is important and every single upcoming match can determine our future, so we have to be really focused”, said Natcho.
