Partizan lost to Feyenoord 5-2 at home in a UEFA Europa Conference League last 16 stage first-leg. We spoke to scorer of the game`s opener, Bibars Natcho, after the match.
Partizan started well, you scored a goal but picked up an injury in the process and had to be subbed soon after. With your exit, tough game became even more difficult.
“Yes, it was extremely difficult game. We knew this was a Dutch team really good in the attack and a problem for us. We were not up to our best but this is football and we have to get ready for a very important match on Sunday”, said 34-year-old Israeli international.
We had a lead twice but Feyenoord cancelled it out swiftly.
“Yes, it happened twice tonight. Dutch team is good in the attack, with fine midfielders and forwards. We have to work on mistakes we made today. Our coach will talk to us and we will try to fix things. But, what matters now is the game on Sunday”.
What was the main difference between Partizan and Feyenoord tonight?
“It was more about mentality tonight. It may be that we don`t like to be pressed during the full length of the game or we were not focused enough or our thoughts were on domestic matters. I don`t know, but we were not up to our best”.
How do you feel? What kind of injury you suffered?
“`i`m not sure, we`ll see tomorrow after the examinations. I don`t feel good but I hope it`s nothing serious”, said Bibars Natcho.
