Aleksandar Scekic: I found this defeat really hard to bare

Eager to win but knackered after the derby encounter, Partizan players suffered 1-0 home defeat in the hands of Radnicki Nis.

We spoke to holding midfielder Aleksandar Scekic after the game:

-We were all fearing this encounter as we were really worn out after the last weekend`s derby game. Unfortunately, we lost to Radnicki and they scored after their only shot on target. We did attack all the way through, had our opportunities but better side didn`t won this time around, said Scekic.

Fixture list is quite congested – Partizan is away to Vozdovac next weekend followed by midweek last 8 cup tie away to Napredak.

-We have three more games before international break, two league ones and a cup tie. We have to turn to those encounters and hope for a positive outcome. On Sunday, we are away to Vozdovac and we need to recover mentally and physically for upcoming games.

-I found this defeat really hard to bare. As we were walking off the pitch, our fans cheered as on and the emotions took over, I couldn`t sustain it.

I`d like to thank them all on their support and I `d always like to see so many Partizan fans on the stands as it was against Radnicki.
