A chat with Nebojsa Kosovic

Back from injury and after full pre-season, Nebojsa Kosovic made a couple of starts this season already.

We spoke to Partizan midfielder ahead of journey to Lithania for a return leg of EL round 2 qualifer.

– I`m satisfied with our early European games this season, it`s this domestic league opening round defeat that hurts. We played three European games so far, won all three without conceding and I hope we`ll eliminate Trakai. Defeat in Surdulica was a great warning but we have to move forward and work on positive atmosphere within the team and to believe we can go through to the next round of EL. We can`t go back in time, said Kosovic.

It`s early in the season, there are lots of new face in the team.  How do you feel personally after recovering from injury?

– I was sidelined for seven months due to anterior cruciate ligaments injury but, thank God, that`s behind me now. I still feel I`m not hundred percent fit, I don`t look good on the pitch as I would like it to be. Therefore I work a lot, aware of good things but also aware of stuff I need to fix. But, I`m sure I`ll be fine with more games played. We are here to help newcomers, they also need time to adapt. All lads are great and we are really a team.

All in all, I want to deserve more time on the pitch and Partizan to keep winning.
